Suzuki is pleased to be returning to exhibit at the third Poole Harbour Boat Show (stand P01) , which will take place from Friday 19th - Sunday 21st May.
With stunning views of Brownsea Island, and in close proximity to lively cafés, bars and restaurants, Poole Quay Boat Haven is the perfect setting for Suzuki to showcase its range of ultimate four stroke outboards and support its partner Dealers and Boat Builders who will also be displaying a range of Suzuki-powered boat packages.
Boat brands such as BRIG, Cobra, Beneteau and Takacat will be on the water and available to test. Of particular interest is the new Raider 18 fishing boat from Warrior Boats. With the Raider brand originating from Poole and now under the ownership of leading UK fishing boat builder, Warrior boats, the new Raider 18 will certainly be a popular exhibit at the show.
Suzuki will be displaying a selection of its ultimate outboard range, all of which benefit from engines that have been designed and built specifically for marine use meaning they are robust and reliable in addition to providing exhilarating performance. Some of Suzuki GB’s team of experts and local Dealer, Yellow Penguin, will also be on-hand to provide advice to customers in the market for a new outboard.
In addition, Suzuki has also recently announced a unique ‘new for old’ insurance scheme to provide additional cover for its ultimate four stroke outboards and give customers yet another reason to choose Suzuki.
The major benefit of this scheme is that if the worst should happen and a Suzuki outboard with this cover is stolen, the customer will receive a new like-for-like replacement outboard without deduction or any additional excess. The insurance, which is administered by Bishop Skinner Marine, applies to outboards up to three years old and boasts the assurance of being underwritten by the Beazley Syndicate at Lloyd’s, which has a secure A-rated capacity.
By introducing this cover, Suzuki is once again leading the way in outboard security as it already offers free Datatag security marking on its 30hp – 300hp models as an innovative and effective form of theft deterrent.
George Cheeseman, Head of Suzuki GB’s Marine Division, said, “The boating season is really getting underway now with strong enquiries and sales so far. Being at Poole Harbour Boat Show gives us another opportunity to support our Dealers and Boat Builder partners as well as speak to new and existing customers from the boating community, which always proves to be valuable and insightful. It’s a great event and we’re really looking forward to it.”
