Suzuki Launches Marine 4-Stroke Outboard Engine Oils

Suzuki GB PLC is delighted to announce the introduction of two new semi-synthetic 4-stroke outboard engine oils, which have been specifically designed for use in its range of 2.5hp - 300hp ultimate outboards.The new Suzuki Marine 4-stroke outboard engine oils are semi-synthetic lubricants that adhere to the stringent NMMA FC-W standards and will provide the user with a host of advantages over standard marine oils, including; higher viscosity and better shear resistance at higher temperatures, outstanding anti-corrosion protection against sea water, better resistance to oxidation plus anti-foaming and anti-clogging properties to protect the oil circuit and filters.
The new Suzuki Marine outboard engine oils, which will be available in 10W-30 and 10W-40 performance grades, are being launched in association with Motul and as such the packaging will be dual branded. Following a Worldwide agreement between Suzuki Marine and Motul, both oils will be made available nationwide through the Suzuki dealer network and will be sold in 1 litre and 5 litre pack sizes. However, larger volumes will also be available if required. It is anticipated that stock will be in dealerships by early July. The RRP for the 10W-30 Suzuki Marine engine oil will be £9.25 (inc VAT) for the 1 litre pack and £39.75 (inc VAT) for the 5 litre pack. The RRP for the 10W-40 Suzuki Marine engine oil will be £9.35 (inc VAT) for the 1 litre pack and £40.25 (inc VAT) for the 5 litre pack.
In addition to the dual branded outboard engine oils, there will also be dual branded outboard SAE90 gear oil, which will be available from September 1st. The RRP for the SAE90 Suzuki Marine gear oil will be £7.99 (inc VAT) for the 350ml tube and £12.99 (inc VAT) for the 800ml tube.
The partnership with Motul will also enable Suzuki dealers to order and sell other products from the Motul Marine lubricants range including; 2-stroke oil, engine cleaning products, water-resistant grease, carburettor cleaner, fuel stabilizer and anti-corrosion spray.
