New Suzuki Security Marking System Available For Outboards

Suzuki GB has launched a new security marking system, which can be used on outboard motors. The easy to use system enables owners to mark and register their outboards to decrease the chances of theft, and increase the chances of recovery if stolen.This new initiative arrives just in time as rising theft rates and a difficult economic climate mean that losing an outboard could have worse consequences than ever before, particularly for the many commercial users of Suzuki’s ultimate 4-strokes.
Whilst expensive locks and alarms do a great job at deterring theft, they are not always an option for those on a budget, and if the outboard is stolen they are normally rendered useless. That’s why Suzuki GB has teamed up with Retainagroup to provide a cost effective security system that carries on working even if an outboard is stolen.
The great benefit to Suzuki outboard owners is that the kit enables craft to be marked discreetly in several places, including your outboard, hull and any electronics. Once registered your marine equipment’s details can be accessed by the police to assist in recovery.
